I don't know if I'll participate. I am quite busy with learning " mische" technique of painting ( or trying to apply it, despite not having all the proper materials yet. And I am doing some cartoons for advertisements for a realtor, who is keeping me sorta busy, and there is an art show in early June- hell- now I have to check all over again- I don't think Drawing Day entails all that much...

Yeah man, thanks 4 asking - I'm currently in the beginning stages of my MOST AMBITIOUS Painting to date, #7 in my series of 7 Oil Paintings: Doggy Style (well really there are 7 "count 'em" seven titles for it)

1 Dog Day Afternoon
2 Every Dog has his Day
3 Gone To The Dogs
4 Doggy Style
5 Dog days of summer
6 Off the Leash (or) Off the Chain
7 It's a Dog world

I chose Dogs for #7 because of the "in dog years" thing, and many other reasons like - there are only seven groups that are judged in all dog shows ... blah blah blah ((I won't bore ya with the gory details, but there are so many unique things i have come up with that this oil will make "Salad Bar" look simple))

It's my take on a World over-run by dogs (yeah, like if they haven't already done that in todays "dog loving society") haha ... This piece is so involved: making fun and taking a jab at practically every dog cliché I can think of ... the setting is in a back alley where the dogs have made their own restaurant / salon unbeknownst to all of their masters...

The original is Huge - 48" x 72" I'll keep u updated in the months to come!
