Artist's Comments
I finally finished something!! And it's about damn time for this one. It's been sitting on my easel for a LONG time, untouched. This is an oil painting I did of a still life scene. I worked from life for this painting. I have the bottle, glass, wood, and cork to use as references. This is my second serious attempt at painting. Overall I'm happy with how this turned out. The original is a lot better than this image, but this is the best I could do.
Oh, and this deviation will put me over the 100,000 pageview mark, so thank you to all that watch and comment!! 11"x14" Oil on Canvas Rembrandt Oils Filbert and round brushes I have no idea on the time **EDIT - I fixed the proportion problem with the glass and did a little more work to it. I am much happier with this result. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
