I still couldn't come up with a concept idea tonight so I decided to do a small colored drawing. I wanted to try circulism with colored pencil on this just to see if I could pull it off. I think it turned out pretty good. I need to try my hand at a large colored pencil portrait sometime I think. It's 5:30 in the morning right now and I've been up all night working on this, so I'm kind of tired now :D I think I spent about 4 hours on this or so. I didn't want to waste my expensive paper so I drew it on Bristol Smooth, which was kind of tricky. Those who have used this paper know that it has almost no tooth in it so I had to do lots and lots of layers.

Prismacolor Colored Pencils

no blending, circulism

must say the colors really work out in this pic, youve really done this with coloring pencils only?

yes color pencil drawing is great, i did my first two with Bruynzeel Pastels. I have
to practise lots more. This one is a very nice example. Skincolor, lighting ect..
