I swore I would always keep my profile here at DA strictly traditional art. But lately I have been getting more into photography, now that I have a decent camera. I just wanted to share my recent attempts at creative photography.
This is a picture of a hotel in downtown Grand Rapids. It's relatively new to the city and it gives off some magnificent colors at night. I was trying to capture some of those in the river reflections.

I'm so glad you are happy with your camera. I think originally you were discouraged. Wonderful photgraphs- and of course you could make your own reference photos with the D-40!
