Here's a drawing I just finished of Jessica Simpson. It's a picture of her from the new movie "The Dukes of Hazzard". This one took me quite a while to do. I really enjoyed it though and think it turned out pretty good.
That is truelly insane. From the shoulder down it could pass for a photograph. The wrinkles you did are incredible as well as that shading job on the arm. The hair to the left of her neck is a little cartoonish looking. The fold in her neck and her nose are the only things that I remotely see as problems. Seems like too much shading or something in her fold in her neck or something because it looks a little bit odd. Her nose just seems off. Either you erased too much for the light effect or gave it a little too much curve or both. The white from her nose sort of blends into that of her right cheek. I know adding more color into that cheek might totally ruin the picture so I don't know. Do what you will with that. That is just from my perspective though. With a quick look could not say a thing was wrong about the picture. It is hard thinking of ways to improve on something that is already so perfect.
wow...thats really good...
The shading on her shirt and arm definately looks like a picture...very, very good!!
I can tell its Jess definately, but there is something about this that doesn't capture her distinct (sp? lol) look..you know what I mean?
I could be completely wrong though...keep in mind this is coming from a amatur..
Wonderful Job!!

I knew exactly who this was when I saw the thumbnail. The detail is amazing. Even though I'm not a fan of her music, I still think you did such a great job on this and I'm giving you a
Wow! Another amazing portrait, Golf! I can't believe how much work you put into these things! Btw, what do you think of her playing Daisy Duke in that movie? I had some of my friends say that they thought it was a stupid idea. I think she's alright for the part though.
P.s. I have a few more portraits up that I wouldn't mind if you gave me your opinion on them!

What kind of pencil shall I use?
