Finally done. This is a drawing I did of my chihuahua, Misty. The butterfly was done with prismacolor colored pencils and the rest of the portrait was done in with graphite pencils. I added a bell to her collar instead of a boring ID tag because I thought it might be cuter. I am really happy with the outcome of this. It was my first time leaving everything completely unblended. The only part of the drawing that I did blend was the light cast shadow on the ground. After doing a couple still life drawings, I felt like my eye sight was very tuned in terms of tonal flow and shapes. The message I was trying to convey in the drawing is sometimes it's the little things in life that mean the most. Thank you to everyone who commented on the WIP.
omg! I love it =o the detail is amaizing! This is an instant fav from me awesome stuff. I really like the colour in the butterfly, and how it stands out among the darker tones. I love how you shaded the dog! It makes her look soft and fluffy

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
