Here is the final version of Elvis. I may try to take some better pictures of it because the glare from the graphite kept messing up all the pictures I took of it. In real life, it's pretty much a consistent dark background but the pencil strokes are showing more in the digital version, or maybe it's just me. I don't know. Anyways, I knew I had to draw this picture when I saw it. I have always loved Elvis. Hope you all like it and thank you for the comments on the WIP.
Great contrast in this work. I like the detailling on his face and neck with beads of sweat and that pulsing vein in his neck. His expression conveys the raw emotion of his passion for the song and you have captured it nicely here.
Nice contrast !
My favourite thing in this picture is the neck, it looks very realistic.
Next time can you put all the WIP's in 1 piece? Or do you think I shouldn't be so lazy?

It amazes me how fast you work, and how prolific you are. A drawing like this, for me, would take about 20 hours, and I'd space it out over about two weeks.
I love the darkness. In spite of the obvious pencil marks, it's incredibly smooth (which is your forte anyway). I could never do that on Bristol board.
It seems like everything you do is an immediate favourite. Great job!
Yay, Elvis! How cool! Like the whole darkness-thing going on there. Love the shiny buttons. Have to catch up on the rest of your work - haven't been paying much attention to DevART cos I got too much work to do. Grr!
