I was asked a while ago by Curry's Art Store if I would let them use one of my tutorials on their site. I figured it would be more exposure for my art so I agreed. I have never ordered anything from Curry's and would not endorse them. But here's a link to the feature: Curry's Artwise. I get all my stuff from Dick Blick. I've always had good luck with them and they are the cheapest.

A commission project went through this morning also. So I have started on that. I have a deadline of February 14th for this drawing. So I split up the drawing into 10 different sections. Each day I will complete a section. So the drawing should be done in 10 days and then it has 4 days to ship to my customer. I might do a WIP of it here, not sure yet.

Well, there's another tutorial I'll have to try out real soon.

Anything I can't get locally gets ordered from there. Except for the occassional auction deal....lol.

The commission job I talked about in the journal?? It's a drawing of a young woman in a swimsuit...lol, not a bad gig. The guy ordered it for his wife for Valentine's Day.

It's pretty cool. I'm not sure how much business Curry's does or how many people will see it, but it's more exposure for me. :)

I've got art stores near my house but they can't even begin to compete with Blicks. Everything is so much cheaper. I order what I need and it's always on my doorstep in 2 days. I was amazed at how fast they ship.
