Havok on DA?!

What's the deal with all of these SPAM postings telling me to go to this "funny site"?? Seems someone has set up an elaborate scheme to steal a lot of people's passwords. Make sure you look up at the top address bar whenever you are asked for your password. Just to make sure that it's actually DA that's asking you. If you are an everyday, contributing member you should never be asked for your password. I never have to enter mine.

I mean with all the spamming, and those damn art theives! UGH! Don't they have something better to do besides piss people off?!

oh no !!!
i just had a message on my page to check out a site that my picture was posted in...but the DA user posting it i know them they are in my friends list the name looks familiar i hope her account wasn't hacked!! anyway when i clicked the link firefox blocked it and when i clicked 'ignore this warning' it took me to DA's main page asking me to log in i didn't ofcourse , it was weird since i was already logged in-i hope this was something else but it sounds it may be the same spam problem.

That wasn't DA's main page. That was a fake DA page from a different site. And that's how these people are stealing the passwords. Yes, your friend had her account taken over. This is happening to A LOT of people right now. I hope DA gets this straightened out. The best thing that you can do is to "hide" that posting that you recieved so that other people don't get their passwords stolen too.
