Well, unless a commission comes up this weekend, I will be starting my portrait of Armin Mersmann,

on Sunday or Monday. He sent me a couple reference pictures today. I have to admit, the pictures he sent are VERY intimidating (technically) looking at them. I think this might be the most intricate portrait I have done to this point. He has a very light beard, tons of pores on his face, and dark hair with the occasional gray stray hair. I think I will really try hard on this portrait because I look up to him so much. I want to impress him with this one. So it might take me a couple weeks, or if I'm patient enough, it could take a whole month. There's defenitely enough detail on his face to take that long.
On a different note, my scanner is supposed to come today. The UPS guy hasn't shown his face yet but I hope he does before I take off for the weekend. I really want to get this thing set up and see how it works.

The decision to kiss for the first time is the most crucial in any love story. It changes the relationship of two people much more strongly than even the final surrender; because this kiss already has within it that surrender.
